Manhattan Deli Apologizes to Forest Whitaker; We’re Not Racist


Manhattan Deli which proceeded to pat Forest Whitaker down after they believed he was shoplifting has apologized.

Milano’s owner Anthony Galofaro, called in to TMZ to personally apologize to Forest Whitaker.

“I would like to apologize on behalf of my employee that wrongly accused him of shoplifting, this is not reflective of Milano’s management,” said Galofaro. “I’m sorry to say he already lost his job, but I am sure he didn’t mean any wrong doing but he is no longer with the company.”

Milano’s has offered to donate to any charity of Whitaker’s choice to attempt to rectify the situation.
