Motorola’s Smartwatch Could Be $250

Motorola’s the hottest name in the smartwatch scene, and it hasn’t even put out a product.

The company has shown off its round smartwatch, the Moto 360, but its “summer” release date is almost over, and the only thing close to an availability date is an upcoming event Sept. 4.

But while no date has been announced, it could have a price point, if electronics retail giant Best Buy is to be believed.

According to Droid Life, Best Buy showed off some interesting information about the Moto 360 that was previously unavailable. But what’s most interesting is the price point. The Moto 360 could clock in at a cool $250.

While more expensive than current Android Wear smartwatches, the stylish 360 is only $20 more than the closest competition, the LG G Watch.

The information was available on the Moto 360’s product page before Best Buy took it down. Here’s a rundown of what to expect when it launches sometime in September, presumably after the company’s Sept. 4 conference.
