New Poll Says Most Americans Oppose Obamacare

A CNN/ORC International poll released Monday claims that a majority of Americans oppose “Obamacare,” – the Affordable Care Act of 2010.

54 percent of respondents in the study opposed Obamacare. Of those who opposed it, 16 percent say they disapprove of the law because it is not liberal enough, while 35 percent say it is too liberal.

The law is supported by 43 percent of the public, according to the poll; and while almost 75 percent of Democrats support the new law, just 16 percent of Republicans are in favor of the law.
