Obama On Father’s Day: “Good Parenting Isn’t Easy”

Dad to daughters Sasha and Malia, Obama lamented that his own father was an absentee and says he’s still working to be a better father.

“Being a good parent — whether you’re gay or straight; a foster parent or a grandparent — isn’t easy,” Obama said in his weekly address. “It demands your constant attention, frequent sacrifice, and a healthy dose of patience. And nobody’s perfect.”
