NBA legend and HIV/AIDS activist Magic Johnson has given a thumbs up to OraQuick’s new at-home HIV test.
The FDA approved product from OraSure produces results in about 20 minutes in the privacy of consumers’ homes. Chain drugstores like Duane Reade and CVS carry the test for just under $40.
Johnson, who has become a successful entrepreneur since his basketball days, announced that he was HIV positive over 20 years ago.
