Pat Houston, the sister-in-law and manager of Whitney Houston, reportedly had a suicide scare when cops were called to her home after a suspicious Facebook post. Houston, who starred in the reality show “The Houstons: On Our Own” with Whitney’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday after she was found passed out next to a pill bottle.
Family and friends close to Pat thought she had attempted to take her life after she posted on her Facebook page: “Sometimes you just feel like giving up on life and its many challenges. And for the first time in my life…I’m tired…and I want to finally rest. I love you guys.”
After calls and texts were met unanswered, the authorities were called to rush to Houston’s Georgia home. Pat explained she had simply taken pill medication for her back, turned her phone off and had gone to sleep.
