Headphone-touting rappers such as Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, RZA and Ludacris have dominated the audio industry, each raking in a nice chunk of change for their pricey earbuds. Grammy nominated rapper Wale has just followed suit, inking a deal with Utah-based Skullcandy.

“Skullcandy is stoked to welcome such a diverse talent to our crew and to ensure that fans receive the Skullcandy VIP treatment,” said a representative from the company.

The MMG rapper’s first track off of his mixtape Folarin will drop on Christmas Eve on the Skullcandy website.
