Roland Martin Ejected from CNN After Six Years at Network

Political commentator Roland Martin confirmed on Twitter that he will be exiting his six-year gig at CNN.

Responding to a tweet from a Twitter follower asking him when he would be returning on-air, Martin responds, “Sorry. Can’t book myself. My last day at @cnn is April 6.”

After followers inquired as to why he would be departing the network he said, “New boss wants his own peeps,” referring to new CNN President Jeff Zucker.
