Here is the 3rd in our series of videos featuring “Impact Players” in the African American community, throughout Black History Month.

This week’s video focuses on business magnate, activist and philanthropist Russell Simmons.

In the feature, Simmons, CEO and founder of Rush Communications, tells Impact Players host Robert Wolf that the U.S. government is corrupt and overrun by lobbyists. He also says his African-American heroes include Louis Farrakhan, Jessie Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton. Wolf is an outside advisor to President Obama.
