It’s been announced on Billboard that Jay-Z is releasing a new LP, “Magna Carta Holy Grail”, and with his current deal with Samsung, will be giving a million albums away, via Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4 and Galaxy Note II smartphones.

A new commercial was released during the Spurs victory over the Miami Heat in game 5 of the NBA Finals announcing Jay’s next release. Samsung has purchased 1 million copies of “Magna Carta Holy Grail” to give to their Galaxy smartphone users for free, 72 hours before it’s officially released. The app to be able to download the album will be available later this month. The download will be available at 12:01 AM on July 4th.

It’s been reported by a source at the Wall Street Journal that Samsung paid $5 apiece for the albums, but this is only a rumor.
