Meet Willy T. Ribbs, Black Race Car Driver Who Broke The Indy 500 Color Barrier
In the 102-year history of the Indianapolis 500, Willy T. Ribbs and George Mack are the only two African Americans to have ever circled the Indy Motor Speedway’s 2.5-mile oval. Ribbs returned to Indianapolis on Saturday to premiere his biographical movie, "Uppity."
