Burt, who began her career as an educator, parlayed her professional experience into her entrepreneurial venture. With more than 50 children currently enrolled, Burt has been featured in Ebony and Today's Chicago Woman magazines and has been recognized by the Women's Business Development Center, the nation's largest business assistance center for women, with its Rising Star Award.
