Season 3 Of ‘BMF’ To Feature Lil Baby, Saweetie, And Cynthia Bailey

The three new guest stars will join previously announced Ne-Yo and 2 Chainz for the latest season.

Starz crime-drama series BMF will begin its eagerly awaited third season with a star-studded lineup of new guest stars, including rapper and singers Lil Baby, Saweetie, and Cynthia Bailey.

The trio joins previously confirmed guest stars Ne-Yo and 2 Chainz.

The show dropped new cast photos on Instagram on Dec. 14 with the caption, “Waddup Doe, we got new faces joining the crew. Y’all ready for #BMF Season 3?”

Baby is breaking onto the acting scene as Payne, an enforcing foot soldier out of Atlanta. Saweetie plays a former athlete named Keeya trying to make it on the streets of St. Louis. Lastly, Bailey will step on screen as Gloria, the ex-wife of Detective Bryant, who’s trying to deal with their son’s ongoing legal battles.

BMF is executive produced by 50 Cent and is set to return for season 3 on March 1. The show has previously followed the true story of the Flenory brothers, Demetrius “Big Meech” and Terry “Southwest T,” the founders of the Black Mafia Family. “Big Meech” is played by his son, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr.

Season 3 will be set in the 1990s and follow Big Meech’s expansion of his empire throughout Atlanta while his brother Terry continues the operation in Detroit.

“It’s going to give you entertainment and energy,” 50 Cent previously told CNN. “If those lifestyle choices weren’t there, it would still be a family drama.”

Lil Meech told the outlet, “I already knew a lot about my dad and my uncle that my father used to tell me, and I used to see growing up. But this was a whole different experience because now I had to learn about them in their childhood, when they grew up, [and] what choices they made to become who they are today.”

50 Cent produces BMF through G-Unit Film and Television alongside Starz’s Lionsgate Television.
