Black Enterprise presents “Innovate or Die: How to Successfully Leverage Your Brand in the Age of Social Media,” on Tuesday, February 18, 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Kicking the evening off with our entrepreneurs showcase, where a select group of startups and resource groups will present their offerings, the demo portion and panel event will take place at AOL headquarters located at 770 Broadway in New York City. Moderated by SVP/Chief Content Officer Alfred Edmond Jr (@ALfredEdmondJr), “Innovate or Die” will explore how brands, everyone from entrepreneurs to big-name companies, use social networking sites to elevate their expertise and/or product, land opportunities and cash in on their social footprint. The panelists include social media heavyweights Terrena Carriman (@TerrenaC), global social media manager at Avon, technology evangelist and Smallbiztechnology.com founder Ramon Ray (@RamonRay), and Tiffany Aliche (@TheBudgetnista), founder and CEO of TheBudgetnista.com .
