Songstress Ciara Dubbed New Face of Roberto Cavalli Line

According to Forbes, hip-hop songstress Ciara is now the new face of Roberto Cavalli’s new Fall/Winter clothing line. Cavalli’s blog says the ad campaign, “380 Ciara’s Kingdom,” tells the “story of a world encapsulated in a room,” depicting Ciara as a queen of sorts. In the photos, a stoic Ciara can be seen sitting atop, golden colored sand in a room with rich turquoise-painted walls. She sits draped in breathtaking satin Cavalli attire.

Cavalli, an Italian designer  reportedly known for his distinguished plunging necklines and exotic prints, describes Ciara as an “American pop artist who embodies beauty with a hint of wildness,” in his blog. The heartfelt entry, signed with love from Cavalli himself, goes on to say, “Ciara interprets the Cavalli woman with purity and spontaneity.”

The singer, performer, new mom, and now model took to social media to share her joy for the campaign’s reveal through an enthusiastic Instagram post that contained the campaign hashtag #CiaraForCavalli.

“Aaahh, I’m so excited. Love You Peter Dundes, Roberto Cavalli #CiaraForCavalli.”

Ciara now joins female music artists turned models Rihanna, who recently made history as the first black woman featured as the face of Dior, and Nicki Minaj who has also worked with Roberto Cavalli.
