Cedric the Entertainer and Niecy Nash avoided the unemployment line when TV Land picked up their show, ‘Soul Man,’ for another season.
Cedric tweeted, “Just got word #TheSoulMan has been picked up for season #2. Thank all of you who wrote in and/or just watched me @niecynash bout to Turn Up!â€.
The series got a strong start in June when it debuted with 1.92 million viewers but lost steam over the course of the season. The finale drew 992,000 viewers.
