Star Jones and National Association of Professional Women Kick Off New York Conference

Today, the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) kicks off its National Networking Conference in Times Square, where more than 1,100 professional women across more than 150 industries will convene to connect and be empowered.

The two-day event, hosted by NAPW’s national spokesperson and chief development officer Star Jones, includes panels and workshops on entrepreneurship, philanthropy and advancement for women.

Real-estate mogul and “Shark Tank” star Barbara Corcoran will talk with participants about finding success in business and how to navigate tough waters of being an entrepreneur. Triumphant ABC anchor Robin Roberts will talk about her courageous life and career and be honored with the Icon Award. Company partners for the event include Lancome, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the American Heart Association and Dress for Success.
