Starbucks to Offer Delivery

Getting your morning cup of Joe just got easier. Starbucks is working to make your coffee experience effortless. CNBC reports that Starbucks intends to launch a delivery service during the second half of 2015.

However, if you’re not a loyalty member, you might be out of luck. Starbucks says the delivery service will be offered to members of its loyalty program as part of its new Mobile Order and Pay app. This app will be introduced in Portland by the end of this year, and will allow customers to place advance orders and pick them up at a selected Starbucks location.

The food and beverage company also announced that it has an interactive roastery in the works. “On December 5, Starbucks will open the first-of-its-kind interactive Starbucks Reserve Roastery and Tasting Room dedicated to roasting, coffee education and increased availability of their fast-growing small-lot Starbucks Reserve coffees. The consolidation of small-batch roasting will allow the company to expand their Starbucks Reserve coffee line to 1,500 locations globally as well as open over 100 stores designed to highlight these rare coffees exclusively,” said the company in a statement.
