Woman Missing After Celebrating ‘Teacher of the Year’ Award

Terrilynn Monette, a second-grade teacher in Louisiana, is missing after last being seen at a bar where she celebrated her Teacher of the Year award.

Authorities say the 26-year-old and her black BMW are missing with no plausible leads on where she could be.

Friends and family say Monette was at Parlay’s Bar with a friend and acquaintances until about 5 a.m., and that she said she would sleep in her car (license plate WUN494) because she consumed too much alcohol to drive. Police say she was also spotted with an unidentified man.
