The Queen Latifah Show Returns To Daytime TV

queen latifah smilingThe Queen Latifah Show is returning to daytime television. Sony Pictures Television will distribute the show that is being produced by Flavor Unit and Overbrook Entertainment.

The show originally aired from September  1999 to August of 2001 on syndication as a weekly talk show. They completed a ‘dream team’ of executives to work on the show. The staff includes people who have worked on The Chelsea Lately Show, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn.

According to Sony Pictures TV, the show will debut on CBS on September 16th at 11am.
