NYC Woman In Car Fatally Shot During Shocking Ambush Captured On Surveillance Video

The 28-year-old mother of one was killed instantly by a bullet to the head.

A New York City woman was killed when several gunmen approached the car she was in, shooting several rounds into the driver’s side, striking her in the head and killing her instantly. It was all caught on surveillance video.

Three men ran up on a Black Honda sedan on a Queens street, targeting the male driver, who was also shot, but the passenger in the front seat, 28-year-old Clarisa Burgos, died after being hit in the head with a bullet from one of the gunmen. The troubling incident occurred just before midnight near 127th Street and Liberty Avenue in the Richmond Hill section on Dec. 26.

The 39-year-old unnamed driver tried to escape the scene before getting shot, as a video shows two men approaching the vehicle on the driver’s side. A third man came around from the passenger side to try to finish him off after the first two men fired through the window. As the driver hit the gas to get away, the three men ran away from the car. The man drove 2.5 miles away to a police station, the 103rd Precinct station house.

The driver caught six bullets in the torso and was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center by paramedics, where he was listed in stable condition. The young mother of a 4-year-old son, Burgos, was declared dead at the scene.

“We’ve raised her in a good way, with love,” her aunt told The Post. “God knows what has happened to her.”

The relationship between the Burgos and the driver wasn’t disclosed, and the police have stated that they have no motive for the deadly shooting. There have been no arrests made in the killing.
