Historic HBCU Rivalry Meets Cutlure and Community

For more than 120 years, the HBCU football teams of Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University have had a longstanding rivalry. Now, the matchup takes on a bigger stage, meeting culture and community at the first-ever ATL Labor Day Classic. Sept. 4-6, 2026 will be a full weekend of events with the football game, fan zone, VIP experiences, live entertainment, and a unique chance to audition for MTV's "Wildin' Out." Jerry Freeman and DeVonn Baker —the Classic's executive directors —are two longtime friends, Morehouse alumni, and fraternity brothers who are taking this historic matchup to the next level for a premier experience in the Black Mecca.
