John Rogers & James Bell on the Importance of Minority Board Directors

On this edition, we highlight the fifth annual Black Enterprise Registry of Black Corporate Directors with John Rogers, Chairman and CEO of Ariel Investments, and James Bell, former Executive President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate President of The Boeing Company. They are pushing for more minority board members to be appointed to our nation’s largest publicly held companies. Plus, we profile Nailah Ellis-Brown, president and CEO of Ellis Infinity Beverages, the company that manufactures Ellis Island Tea. In the next segment, we continue our push for diversity inside the boardroom with Bruce Gordon, who serves on three of our largest publicly traded corporations. And finally, we feature Otis Bullock, executive director of Diversified Community Services in Philadelphia, who is on a mission to increase educational opportunities for children.
