Women of Power: Author and TV Personality Star Jones Talks Power of Sisterhood
There’s always been that age-old stereotype that women of color don’t support one another and that many in power positions see peers as a threat. But this is not always the norm. Many female leaders create a strong sister support system that helps them navigate often unequal and challenging waters in the business world.
Star Jones, a Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit alumna, has built a tremendously successful career in the legal, entertainment and publishing industries, and she has attested to the power of women supporting one another in the advancement of their careers and lives.
