With all the buzz around Ava DuVernay’s highly anticipated film Selma, we put the leading lady in the hot seat for our “Power Suite” segment to get all the details about the film’s production, it’s timeliness with issues of today, and why it’s a must see movie for people of all ages. In addition to going behind the big screen with DuVernay, this weekend’s new episode of Women of Power will also take viewers behind-the-scenes with actress Lorraine Toussaint who plays civil rights activist Amelia Boynton Robinson in the Martin Luther King, Jr. inspired film.
