Flo Rida Becomes Part Owner of VG Vodka, South Florida’s Largest Craft Vodka

Tramar “Flo Rida” Dillard has become partners with Victor G. Harvey Sr. to create South Florida’s largest craft vodka, Victor George Vodka (VG Vodka). Along with the partnership, the two entrepreneurs have plans to build a 13,000-square-foot facility on historic Sistrunk Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. The venue will house a 4,500-square-foot distillery along with a cigar bar, wine bar, lounge, and restaurant.

“Super excited to join the VG Family as an equity owner and brand ambassador,” said Flo Rida in a press release. “I have known Mr. Harvey for years and I’ve seen his grind, hard work, and enthusiasm in building his brand. I look forward to introducing VG Vodka to the world, developing new products through the construction of a distillery in historic Sistrunk, and empowering the community.”

The two friends, through their company, VG Spirits, will launch in Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Las Vegas, and New York in the spring of this year and have plans to launch the brand nationwide in 2021. Along with the vodka, the line will also include whiskey, gin, tequila, and some specialty liqueurs.

“Flo is an amazing businessman and I watched him build his company from the ground up,” said Harvey. “I knew it was only a matter of time before we did something together and VG Vodka seemed like the perfect fit.”

Just in time for Super Bowl week, VG Vodka, an ultra-premium, gluten-free vodka, will debut this newly formed partnership through a series of events leading up to the Super Bowl.

“What we are building in the Sistrunk community is exactly what the area needs,” Harvey adds. “A place to dine, drink, and socialize without having to leave the area. In addition, the amount of jobs we will create in the community is a huge plus for South Florida.”
