It’s clear that Jay Z and Beyoncé are one of the hardest working couples in the industry and with a newly-announced “On the Run” joint summer tour, it seems like the Carter family reign has no plans of letting up anytime soon.

Last year, Bey started her Mrs. Carter World tour, dropped an unexpected album accompanied with visuals and shut down the 2013 Superbowl with a jaw-dropping performance. Meanwhile, her hubby Jay secured a $5 million deal with Samsung to announce his summer album Magna Carter Holy Grail, went on tour with Justin Timberlake and expanded his Roc Nation enterprise into the sports business. And while the couple’s 2013 moves had us all wondering what could possibly be next, their major career moves of 2014 only add to the fact that the Carters’ are truly in a league of their own. Time magazine’s Most Influential Person:  This year, Queen Bey graced the cover of Time’s “100 Most Influential People” as she snagged the No.1 spot on the list. Known as the CEO of her own brand, Lean In author Sheryl Sandberg complimented the entertainment mogul’s empire stating: “Beyoncé doesn’t just sit at the table. She builds a better one.”

Mrs. Carter Show World Tour: After traveling the world with her family in tow, capturing unforgettable moments with fans and never missing a beat on stage, Bey ended her 137-stop tour on March 27th with an expected gross income of more than $200 million, making her the highest paid black musician of all time.

Forbes 2014 list: Coming in at No. 3 on Forbes 2014 list for Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists is none other than Mr. Shawn Carter himself. His net worth is estimated to be a whopping $550 million, with his company Roc Nation being worth nine figures itself.

Performance at First Lady Michelle Obama’s 50th: FLOTUS has been very vocal about her love for Beyoncé, so it was only right that she tapped the 32-year-old singer to perform at her exclusive invite-only 50th birthday bash that we’re sure only the finest attended.

“Drunk in Love” tops Billboards Hot 100 Chart: When Bey unexpectedly dropped her self-titled album at the end of 2013, the Internet went into a frenzy and within one weekend the Houston-native had sold 800,000 albums. Among the many hit songs on the project, her collaboration with husband Jay Z for “Drunk in Love” became a fan favorite and the couple brought in the 2014 year with a collaborative song that held the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart.
