Kelly Rowland Announced Second Child And JustFab Collection For Women

A few months ago, Kelly Rowland launched her new footwear and apparel collection and now the Destiny’s Child alum just gave birth to her second child. Rowland and her husband Tim Weatherspoon announced the big news on Saturday and introduced Noah Jon Weatherspoon to the world.

“On the 21st day, of the 21st year, of the 21st Century, Noah Jon Weatherspoon greeted us,” she posted on Instagram. “We are so grateful.”

From New Business to New Baby

Rowland hasn’t let the pandemic stop her flow. The 39-year-old singer has been making moves every month and inspiring women everywhere with her fashionable looks.

Last October, Rowland collaborated with JustFab to launch a shoe and clothing collection. Her line helps women take the guesswork out of getting dressed. This is extremely helpful during a time where women have gone from in-person interactions to zoom meetings. Now, comfortable attire is a must-have.

“We figured every woman shared the same sentiment as me: If I still want to feel some sort of glam in this weird time, what would that look like?” Rowland tells Elle. “There are only so many pairs of big jeans and sweats we can wear. For the collection, we wanted people to feel some sort of luxury without having to spend a whole bunch of money because we don’t know what’s going to happen with the economy.”

She adds, “We want to do the job for her: Being effortless by wearing these comfortable knit sets or oversized sweaters or the cool leathers with fun t-shirts that might already exist in your closet. The JustFab woman deserves it.”

Rowland even maintained her eye-catching style while she was pregnant with her second son. The singer is now giving women everywhere a chance to feel beautiful no matter what stage they are in life.  “We put together a really beautiful collection that I feel exemplifies style, but also doesn’t push you to break the bank. The fabric feels beautiful, the pieces are unique, but they all can stay in your closet for years to come,” she tells Forbes. “They work for you, and I feel like they do all the thinking for you, which is how shop, period.”

Welcoming Her Second Child

In 2014, Rowland gave birth to her first child, Titan Jewell. This month, she gave birth to her second son and is gracefully balancing it all during a pandemic.

“Me and my husband were in the middle of COVID just like everybody else … and there’s not much to do in the house,” Roland said jokingly during an interview with People last year. “We were like, ‘We’ll just try for a baby, we’ll see what happens because we don’t know how long this is gonna last.”

She added, “Literally, by the grace of God, God blessed us with a new life. We’re just really excited.”
