BE Modern Man: Scotch Porter Launches New Skin Care Line During NYFW:Men’s

Indie beard and hair care conglomerate Scotch Porter hosted an exclusive event to kickoff New York Fashion Week: Men’s to celebrate their latest endeavor into the world of skin care, with two new products geared towards tackling the needs and desires of men face care.

Hosted by celebrity stylist Ty Hunter, the carefully curated event, aptly titled “Scotch Porter Penthouse,” brought together the industry’s most elite tastemakers, influencers, ambassadors, and dapper gentlemen including DJ Envy, Rob Hill Sr., SPFL’s Rae Holliday, and Empire actor Tobias Truvillion. Held at the ultra-chic midtown hotel,  The London NYC, guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres, drinks, grooming services, complimentary fedoras from Bailey, and—most importantly—a first-look at the Charcoal & Licorice Restoring Face Wash and Charcoal & Licorice Moisture Defend Face Lotion.

With a huge domestic and international following, the time to develop a skin care system was now. “Fueled by the demand of our loyal customer base, we decided to extend our brand into skin care with a facial cleanser and moisturizer,” said Calvin Quallis, CEO of Scotch Porter and a BE Modern Man Class of 2016 honoree. “The first product focus is on establishing a skin care regime for the man who likes to look his best at all times. We chose those specific ingredients, because of the benefits they provide to various skin types.”

If these products are just as effective as the infamous hair care line, then we are in for great skin to complement our great beards!  Enjoy a few of our favorite images from the event and remember: Scotch Porter is more than a brand; it’s a call to action.
