An NYPD cop allegedly punched his 3-year-old son in the face after “recklessly drinking,” according to the New York Daily News.

Jason Sharp, 37, a 10-year veteran detective, turned his anger out on his son after arguing with his wife.

“After a few minutes I went back upstairs and found my son Connor crying with two swollen eyes which were impairing his vision and his nose and face were swollen,” the wife said.

Sharp, who admitted to having a few drinks, claims he punched the wall though his son went on record stating his father punched him in the face.
