According to VIBE, Stacey Dash has been hired by FOX News as a commentator. The controversial actress made a bold statement in the last presidential election when she gave her full support to Republican candidate, Mitt Romney. By doing so, the black audience was up in arms that someone with an opposing view of Obama was a black woman who is recognized from her acting roles.

“Stacey is an engaging conversationalist whose distinctive viewpoints amongst her Hollywood peers have spawned national debates,” Executive Vice President of Programming Bill Shine says in a statement. “We’re pleased to have her join FOX News.â€
Dash’s role “will offer cultural analysis and commentary†across daytime and primetime shows. She’s best known for her co-starring role in the movie and television show, “Clueless.”
