RNC Coverage: Condoleezza Rice, Tara Wall Confirmed for NBC, TV One Roundtable

NBC News and TV One have confirmed Condoleezza Rice, former secretary of state, among others, for the first round of panelists for 2012 presidential election coverage. NBC News’ Craig Melvin will anchor the Republican National Convention coverage from NBC’s Washington, DC studios, and TV One’s Washington Watch host Roland Martin, will round out coverage with contributing segments and analysis, Aug. 30, 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. EST.

Other confirmed guests include Michael Steele, MSNBC political analyst and former chairman of the Republican National Committee; Marc Morial, CEO of the National Urban League and former Mayor of New Orleans; Tara Wall, a Mitt Romney campaign adviser; Tim Scott, Republican South Carolina congressman; and Dr. Steve Perry, host of TV One series Save My Son.

Also, more roundtable panelists include Joe Madison, activist and radio host; Sophia Nelson, political strategist, author and attorney; and Robert Traynham, Washington D.C. Bureau Chief for The Comcast Network.
