Travelers picked Marrakech, with its markets, gardens, historic palaces, and mosques, as the No. 1 destination in the world. Siem, Cambodia was recognized as No. 2 for its ancient structures, national history, shopping stalls, food vendors, and bars. Istanbul, Turkey, rated at No. 3 by travelers, was recognized for its breathtaking ancient architecture, which coexists with modern restaurants and nightlife. More than historic sites and trendy restaurants, the city’s mosques, bazaars, and hammams (Turkish baths) are enough to keep you busy throughout your trip.
