Sisters Erica Atkins-Campbell and Tina Atkins-Campbell sparked an music revolution as duet Mary Mary with their 2000 release “Shackles (Praise You),” and went on to platinum status with their album “Thankful,” reaching R&B and hip-hop audiences, and changing the face of contemporary gospel. Now, these fly soul sisters are back with their latest release, Something Big, which hits stores Tuesday. caught up with the three-time, Grammy award-winning artists on the best money advice they’ve received, why smart negotiating is an important part of the music business and how being out of the box has catapulted their careers.
