According to ABC News, Will Smith is in talks to star in a drama based on the GQ article, “Game Brain,” about forensic neuropathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu.

The storyline is supposed to be about a whistleblower’s tale about the high price paid by professional athletes in a business fueled by political, corporate, and cultural interests.

Smith is expected to play Omalu, who,  while conducting an autopsy on former Pittsburgh Steelers center Mike Webster, discovered chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in a football player.
