Yandy Smith’s Everything Girls Love Hosts Empowerment Event for Women Professionals
On July 26, Everything Girls Love, a lifestyle brand co-founded by entertainment manager and reality TV star Yandy Smith, hosted its “Girls Love Girl Talk” event in New York to empower women professionals.
The event had a talk-show format, with interactive questions via social media, and featured industry leaders in business, law and entertainment including Mona Scott Young, publisher, television producer and TV host; Janell Hazelwood, career and global editor for BlackEnterprise.com and Black Enterprise magazine; Tamika D. Mallory, a nationally recognized civil rights activist, Precious Avorkliyah, psychotherapist and director of EGL PUD, a mentorship program for young girls, Latoya T. Bond, Owner/CEO of Everything Girls Love L.L.C. and owner of Bond Brand Management (BBM); Ayanna Stephens, vice president and chief of staff in human resources at a Wall Street investment bank and CFO of Girls Love Events; Tashera Simmons, author and motivational speaker; Kehinde Smith, Owner/CEO of MyExtensionz; and Delisha Grant attorney and small business expert.
