How Celebrity Podcaster Shawn Anthony Is Teaching Entrepreneurs How To Pivot Their Businesses
The road to entrepreneurship is not an easy one and there are countless resources to help one on their journey to discover their passion. For one man, his passion to establish his own empire led him to not only success but to a platform that could other entrepreneurs help learn how to make their businesses fly – meet Shawn Anthony.
Anthony is a serial entrepreneur turned celebrity podcaster behind the School’s Over Now What? series catered to help guide entrepreneurs through their various hurdles running a business and establishing their brand. The branded series also includes the Now What Academy to help professionals create their own path in the business of their choice.
Anthony’s interest started in developing his own businesses started from a young and grew as he worked up the corporate ladder for major companies.”I took my networking skillset after I graduated from college and went corporate promoted 6 times in 4 years,” said Anthony in an interview with BLACK ENTERPRISE via email. “I learned what made big companies great and created my own operations manual for success”
Anthony got the idea for the podcast after taking a job promotion and stumbled a podcast app where he learned about a lot of the struggles many of his peers were going schthrough. “I also noticed my peers were loss and needed answers after college was over which lead to me creating “School’s Over…Now What?” – The Podcast. Where I interview celebrities and business owners across the world who have figured that question out each and every single Friday.”
“Just remember how rare you are,” says Anthony. “When I sit on the couches with millionaires and tell their stories they are always quick to tell me I’m needed and there’s not enough black representation in this space.”
Anthony will be an upcoming guest speaker at the BLACK ENTERPRISE Entrepreneurs Summit scheduled on November 12-13th.
