McDonald’s Employees Frightened Into Tears As Woman Jumps Counter and Harasses Staff in Viral Video

McDonald’s Employees Frightened Into Tears As Woman Jumps Counter and Harasses Staff in Viral Video

When the service at a fast-food restaurant is subpar, the thought of “I could do it faster myself” has certainly crossed some disgruntled customers’ minds.

But one McDonald’s customer, a 19-year-old woman in Australia, has been arrested for actually jumping over the counter and attempting to steal food while harassing employees in a now-viral video.

A customer caught the incident on camera and posted it to TikTok where it’s been viewed over 79,000 times.

“I’ll beat you up,” the woman yells before walking toward the back of the kitchen where she proceeds to make herself a burger.

She then opens a glass case and attempts to steal something from the cooler before a police officer can be seen entering the scene and walking behind the counter to arrest her.

“I didn’t do anything,” she says as she’s whisked away.

One employee begins to break down and cry behind the register from the stress of the situation.

Many commented on how the workers must be feeling, noting that they were probably overwhelmed and frightened.

“It’s really sad people have to go to work and deal with this stuff and most of them are probably teenagers,” one viewer said.

“I got emotional with the employee wiping her tears,” another said. “It’s already so stressful working in busy season to then have to deal with that and make minimum wage. Poor things.”

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. local time last Thursday.

The woman, who has still not been named, was arrested for disorderly behavior, property damage, and assault. Some of her offenses were listed as “damaging a door” and “throwing a bottle of water at staff.”

The woman will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court in March 2023.

LeBron James’ Support of Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson Following Sexual Assault Claims Doesn’t Sit Right With Fans

Los Angeles Lakers superstar and future Hall of Fame basketball player, LeBron James is a regular Twitter user with a big following.

So when he sent a post celebrating Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson‘s recent game stats, Twitter users were not happy.

Watson, who was accused by 22 women of sexual misconduct, was suspended 11 games and has paid $5 million for multiple violations of the league’s personal conduct policy. He returned to action several weeks ago.

As BLACK ENTERPRISE previously reported, Watson missed the 2021-2022 NFL season due to allegations of sexual misconduct by 22 women who provided massages during his time with the Houston Texans. Nearly two weeks after a grand jury refused to indict him, a second grand jury declined to indict him.

James sent out the congratulatory message after Watson threw three touchdowns and completed a come-from-behind victory over the New Orleans Saints. In what can be perceived as insensitive toward the women who accused Watson of sexual misconduct, James wrote, “Yessir D Watson!! Another one. That boy getting his rhythm back! #Browns

After the future all-time leading NBA scoring champion sent the Tweet, Twitter users immediately responded.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback started his suspension on August 30. After Watson was originally suspended for six games by Judge Sue L. Robinson, the NFL appealed her decision and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell appointed former New Jersey Attorney General Peter C. Harvey to hear the league’s appeal.

Watson offered to accept being suspended for eight games and paying a $5 million fine.

Robinson initially recommended that Watson be suspended for six games this season. The NFL wanted an indefinite suspension (for at least a minimum of one season) along with a $5 million fine.

The compromise was an 11-game suspension and a $5 million fine.

‘She Was My Rock’: Detroit Woman Killed in Carjacking

A woman in Detroit was killed when she went to a liquor store last week.

According to Fox 2 Detroit, Tracie Golden, 53, went to Beverage One the night of December 28, where she was shot in the abdomen outside of the store, located on Grand River near Outer Drive. The killer then went through her pockets and stole her SUV. The vehicle was later discovered on Seven Mile, but the shooter has not been captured nor identified yet.

Police said that she asked police officers to call her husband, John, as she was dying.

“She was special, amazing. She was my rock, she changed me,” John Golden Jr. said. “I really can’t explain it because if you’ve never lost a spouse, you wouldn’t know that feeling. It’s new to me.”

Golden was taken to Sinai-Grace Hospital, where she worked for years as a respiratory therapist and had been a union steward. She died there.

According to an earlier report on Fox 2 Detroit, police officers are still searching for the suspected killer as there is video surveillance of the actual crime.

The incident took place around 10:40 p.m. on Dec. 28. Police officials stated that Golden was discovered with a gunshot wound to her abdomen.

“I am truly saddened by the senseless murder of Mrs. Golden, she truly represented the best of us,” said Chief James White in a written statement. “We should all be outraged at the cowardly act that took her from our community.”

Police are seeking assistance from anyone who may know who committed the crime.

“The suspect, and anyone aiding or harboring this individual, will be arrested and we will seek prosecution to the fullest extent of the law. We will use every available resource to bring justice to the Golden family, as we pursue this murderer.”

John Golden Jr. had this to say for the suspect.

“Come on in, bruh, before it’s too late.”

Lamar Odom Says Nevada Brothel Owner Tried to Kill Him, Disputes Knowingly Taking Drugs

Several years ago, it was reported that former Los Angeles Lakers champion Lamar Odom overdosed on drugs at a Nevada brothel.

In a recent television special, Odom claimed that he did not do any drugs that night and that the owner of the brothel tried to kill him by putting drugs in his drink that night.

TMZ Presents: Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs and Kardashians premiered Monday. In it, the former basketball player claimed he was set up to be killed by the owner of the Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada. Specifically, Odom said the late Dennis Hof fed him drugs during that fateful night in October 2015.

On that night, Odom overdosed and almost lost his life at The Love Ranch. According to Extra, he was placed on life support after he had “cocaine, cognac and cannabis” in his system, according to his memoir.

While at the hospital, the reality TV star suffered a total of 12 strokes and six heart attacks while he was in a coma. He claims that he remembers having one drink but didn’t take any drugs. He stated that Hof, who died in 2018 was the one who fed him drugs.

“I got there, had the drink, and woke up three days later ripping tubes out of my neck, not knowing how I got there, unable to speak or walk,” Odom states in the TMZ special.

When TMZ’s Harvey Levin asked him if he was “positive” that he didn’t do drugs, his response was:

“As much as I’m positive I’m a Black man sitting in front of you.”

“I would remember if I did cocaine that night. He tried to kill me,” Odom recalled. When questioned on why Hof would do that to him, Odom replied, “I don’t know. This is only what I could tell you. I went there, I didn’t do drugs that night. I wound up with drugs in my system.”

Memphis Grizzlies Star Ja Morant Sued for Allegedly Punching Teenager During Pickup Game

Memphis Grizzlies star player Ja Morant is facing a lawsuit after allegedly attacking a teenager during a pickup game in Tennessee.

Reports just surfaced into the lawsuit that was filed by a 17-year-old in September over an alleged incident that took place at Morant’s home in Eads, Tennessee, on July 26, 2022, TMZ reported. The teen claims they were playing a pickup game with Morant, 23 when the two got into a verbal disagreement.

The teen says things got heated and he threw a basketball at Morant that “accidentally” hit the NBA player in the face. That’s when Morant supposedly stopped and asked a bystander, “Should I do it to him?”

Morant, according to the teen, approached “with a closed fist, knocking him to the ground.” The teen claims Morant “continued sticking him while on the ground” and another jumped in and started hitting him as well.

According to the police report, officers did notice a “large knot” on the teen’s head. Cops also say Morant admitted to striking the teen, but only in self-defense.

The Grizzlies guard claims the teen hit him with the basketball “intentionally” during the argument, and then “began to approach him as if he wanted to fight.” Morant also noted his brother was involved in the incident, but he didn’t give his name.

Spectators had to break up the fight. According to Morant, the teen “made verbal threats stating he’d ‘light his house up'” as he was being escorted off the property. Morant says “he and his family were put in fear by the statement.”

Police investigated the altercation before submitting it to the district attorney on October 4. However, the DA declined to prosecute Morant.

The teen had already filed the lawsuit the month before. Morant and his childhood friend Davonte Pack are listed as defendants.

Morant is one of the most talked-about players in the NBA who was a preseason pick to win the league’s most valuable player award.

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser Urges Biden To End Federal Remote Work or Turn Over Government Buildings For Affordable Housing

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser Urges Biden To End Federal Remote Work or Turn Over Government Buildings For Affordable Housing

Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser calls on President Joe Biden to help resolve her city’s rise in vacant office space and lack of affordable housing.

According to ABC News, Mayor Bowser urges Biden to end “work-from-home telework policies” for federal government workers or release vacant government buildings over to a new initiative to “move 100,000 new residents into the city.”

Today, the federal government is responsible for one-third of properties owned or leased in Washington and a quarter of the city’s jobs before the pandemic.

Mayor Bowser, who was recently sworn in for her historic third term as the first Black woman mayor to serve three consecutive four-year terms, took over eight years ago with a commitment to end homelessness.

However, since the rise of remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mayor’s office needs more help promoting affordable housing while offering new opportunities to convert vacant and underutilized office spaces into new buildings for residential and retail use.

“We need decisive action by the White House to either get most federal workers back to the office, most of the time, or to realign their vast property holdings for use by the local government, by nonprofits, by businesses and by any user willing to revitalize it,” Bowser said, per the news outlet.

The Mayor’s office reported that the Central Business District is currently made up of 92% commercial space, with only 8% allocated to residential. In response, Bowser says the nation’s capital will “add 15,000 residents over the next five years and 87,000 more before it’s all said and done.” She also seeks to boost a rise in new residential conversion projects through her Housing in Downtown Abatement Program.

In December, in an announcement to promote a reimagined downtown, Bowser celebrated the conversion of the old Vanguard building that previously headquartered the Peace Corps since 1965. The building will house the Elle Apartments and is expected to bring 163 residential units when it opens in May 2024.

D.C., which has over 20 million square feet of vacant office space, is hoping to see a brighter future with the help of Biden and Bowser’s ambitious conversion program.

“We have seen how mixed-use communities are more resilient in the face of adversity, Mayor Bowser said in a press release. By converting vacant offices into homes, we can put these spaces back to productive use, add much-needed housing, and create a vibrant downtown where people live, work, and play.”

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach Go Public With Romance After He Files For Divorce

T.J. Holmes officially filed for divorce from his wife last week and seemingly celebrated the move with Amy Robach in Miami.

Holmes and Robach have been the talk of the town after their affair made headlines in November. The GMA3 co-anchors were put on pause after the affair became a media spectacle.

In wake of the reveal and their suspension, Holmes filed to end his 13-year marriage to Marilee Fiebig in New York City last Wednesday. The filing came the same day he was spotted making out with Robach in Miami, Page Six reported.

Photographers caught Robach, 49, with her arm wrapped around Holmes, 45, during a romantic stroll on the pier. The two co-anchors are both still legally married to their respective spouses.

Twitter users have made a mockery of Holmes and Robach going public with their romance.

Holmes filed to divorce Fiebig who responded by extending her support to Robach’s estranged husband Andrew Shue, US Weekly reported. Fiebig “liked” an Instagram photo Shue’s son Nate shared before the new year.

“RIDERS ON THE STORM. ON TO ‘23,” Nate captioned the family photo taken during a getaway to Montana on Wednesday, December 28. The “like” appeared to be a subtle nod to both Fiebig and Shue suffering heartbreaks after their spouses moved on with one another.

Meanwhile, Holmes and Robach went into the new year as a couple. The pair enjoyed time on the pier and a romantic dinner date where they were spotted sharing kisses at the table.

Their getaway also included time in Atlanta before they returned to New York City. The holiday getaway marked Holmes and Robach’s first public outing as an official couple in wake of their on-the-sly romance.

Holmes and Robach allegedly began their affair in March 2022 while training for the New York City Marathon. Fiebig has claimed she was “blindsided” by the affair.

She and Holmes share their 12-year-old daughter, Sabine. Holmes and Robach remain suspended from GMA3 pending an investigation into their relationship.

Prince Harry Reveals Buckingham Palace’s Silent ‘Betrayal’ Against Him and Meghan Markle

Sometimes silence is an answer.

Prince Harry shared that he was forced to go public about the challenges he and his wife, Meghan Markle, faced during a teaser for an interview with Anderson Cooper.

According to Rolling Stone, Prince Harry said their intention for speaking out was to counter what the media had been dishing out.

In the snippet, Prince Harry said that Buckingham Palace’s silence about him and his wife is “betrayal.”

“Every single time I’ve tried to do it privately there have been briefings and leakings and planting of stories against me and my wife,” he told Cooper in the interview. “You know, the family motto is ‘never complain, never explain,’ but it’s just a motto.”

“There’s a lot of complaining and a lot of explaining,” Cooper said, “being done through leaks.”

“They will feed or have a conversation with the correspondent,” Prince Harry continued. “And that correspondent will literally be spoon-fed information and write the story. And at the bottom of it they will say that they’ve reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.

“But the whole story is Buckingham Palace commenting. So when we’re being told for the last six years, ‘We can’t put a statement out to protect you.’ But you do it for other members of the family. It becomes…there becomes a point when silence is betrayal,” he added.

The interview follows the premiere of the six-episode Netflix documentary series, Harry & Meghan.

As previously reported by BLACK ENTERPRISE, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex faced backlash from critics after the documentary that highlighted their exit from the United Kingdom was released.

A statement, “Members of the Royal Family declined to comment on the content within this series,” runs with each episode of the documentary, and the Royal family has remained silent, even with the docuseries being reported as the biggest show of the year in the U.K.

Reportedly, the full 60 Minutes interview is set to air just days before the Jan. 10 release of Prince Harry’s 416-page book, Spare.

Black Women Are Calling White Women Out for Snatching Up All the Mielle Organics Rosemary Oil

Products from this Black-owned hair line are being bought up by white women.

The Mielle Rosemary Oil has become a hot grab on the market, but apparently, white women are making it difficult for Black women to get their hands on the product that was made for natural hair.

The oil has been circulating on TikTok in videos posted by a ton of white influencers who showcase the product as part of their haircare routines.

Alix Earle, a white TikToker with 3.2 million followers, posted a ‘Get Ready With Me’ video to her page where she shared with her followers the tremendous hair growth she experienced after using the oil for a little over a month.

After other white users and influencers began posting their videos about the product, shoppers bought out the Mielle product.

This has reportedly caused controversy with Black women, who called white women out for shopping on the ethnic hair product aisles.

One Twitter user expressed how annoying the situation is to her.

Another user responded under the tweet writing, “Don’t even get me started on the Mielle issue. They’re also all giving incorrect instructions to immediately wash it out since it was designed for a different hair texture.”

A third user posted to Twitter about white women selling out the rosemary oil, expressing that Black women can’t have anything, while another said the situation is something unexpected.

https://twitter.com/AomAola/status/1609651882640961537?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1609651882640961537%7Ctwgr%5E851b42ee2d665873eeb6a75f587704cd9a1c0ce1%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Femilycottontop.com%2Fwhite-women-have-been-buying-the-mielle-organics-rosemary-oil-and-black-women-are-calling-them-out-for-selling-it-out-we-cant-have-anything%2F

While some Black women expressed their concern for the product being sold out by white customers, others really did not seem to care.

“Lately I’ve been seeing ppl up in arms about non black people buying the Mielle rosemary oil and…I do not care LMAOOOO. Why? Bc products are not race based, along with the fact that I don’t think anybody should be using raw oils in the year of 2023,” one user wrote.

Reportedly, some white women found faults in the product, claiming it made their hair oily. New haircare trends have circulated showing white women diluting the product, making it more compatible for their straight hair.
