Sukihana Trends After YK Osiris Forces Himself On Her At Public Event, Amber Rose Defends Her

Reality star Sukihana is trending across social media for two disturbing videos from separate incidents showing one male singer forcing himself on her and a male interviewer’s vulgar statements.

The “Love & Hip Hop” star is known for her sultry brand that includes graphic OnlyFans videos, social media stunts, and referring to herself as “Suki with the good c**chie.” But her online persona appears to be misunderstood by overly aggressive men who are getting called out for their disturbing advances.

On Tuesday, June 13, singer YK Osiris came under fire after a video showed him forcing a kiss on Sukihana while she judged a Crew League basketball tournament in Atlanta this past weekend. Osiris walked behind Suki and rubbed her shoulders before leaning down and grabbing her face in an attempt to kiss her.

Sukihana looked visibly taken aback and leaned down to protect her face from touching Osiris. That’s when the singer started laughing and clapping hands with bystanders in what appeared to be approval seeking for his actions.

Social media wasted no time accusing Osiris of “sexually assaulting” Suki in front of a room full of people.

“She was sexually assaulted and people just sitting their laughing…,” one user wrote.

“Jail time for everyone involved, everyone who watched and laughed too,” added another.

Amber Rose entered the chat on Wednesday, June 14 to defend Sukihana after watching her get “sexually assaulted and no one did anything!”

“This is the entertainment industry and she is an entertainer,” Amber wrote in a post captured by Onsite.

“Using her lyrics and her persona as an excuse to physically touch her and force her without consent is absolutely disgusting.”

The shocking video came on the heels of another encounter Sukihana had with an overly aggressive male host on Kandi Burruss‘ podcast who was called a “creep” for his vulgar advances at the reality star.

Debates ensued in the comments between many who defended Suki and others who blamed her for how she presents herself online. There were also spectators who questioned Kandi’s nonchalant response to her co-host.

“They literally think if you do stuff like suki that’s it’s ok for them to act like him,” one user wrote. “I would’ve left & why is kandi just laughing.”

“Caught second hand embarrassment fr,” another said.

“Sexual harassment and kandi is just laughing it off,” added someone else.

Tracee Ellis Ross Sends ‘Healing Energy’ To Celebrity Hairstylist Who Underwent Brain Surgery

Tracee Ellis Ross is among the famous faces extending their support to celebrity hairstylist Johnnie Sapong who remains in intensive care after undergoing brain surgery to remove a tumor.

The “Black-ish” star took to her Instagram Story on Monday, June 12 to share a link to Sapong’s fundraising page and offer her support to his family, E! News reports.

“@sapongjohnnie sending all the healing energy and love love love,” she wrote alongside a photo with Sapong and a link to his GoFundMe.

“Please support Johnnie and his family.”

Sapong’s son John Sapong organized the fundraising effort after his “dad nearly died,” according to the campaign’s title. The fundraiser reveals how Sapong was woken up out of his sleep on Thursday, June 8, with a “severe headache” and blurred vision in his left eye.

The freelance hairstylist tried to ignore the pain and make it to his son’s 5th-grade graduation on Friday morning. But the pain was too much and he opted to stay home to get rest. Once his family returned home and saw that he was still in pain, that’s when they decided to take him to the hospital.

The ER visit resulted in an MRI and cat scan that found “something on his brain.” After he was transferred to another hospital, a neurological team discovered “a large tumor on his pertuatory gland,” his son revealed.

“It was pressing on his brain and optic nerve and was it bleeding,” John wrote.

After a long surgery, the tumor was removed but Sapong remains hospitalized under review. The family of the freelance hairstylist is asking for help as Sapong recovers.

“As you all know my dad is a kind, amazing, talented man who loves his job as a freelance hairdresser and who works hard to support his family,” John continued.

“He is the main source of income for our family. He is not going to be able to work, we don’t know how long for, how long it will take for him get back to full health.”

Along with Ellis Ross, other celebrities who have donated to the fundraising campaign include Amandla Sternberg, Sasha Lane, and Charlize Theron.

Keke Palmer Calls Out ‘Breast Milk Discrimination’ At Houston Airport

Keke Palmer is not here for the “breast milk discrimination” she endured while traveling through a Houston airport this week.

The “Nope” star sounded off on Twitter on Monday, June 12, after apparently being forced to throw out “over 160z” of breast milk.

“Breast milk discrimination at the Houston airport ruined my mood,” Palmer quipped.

“I should’ve popped my tit out right then because the discretion and comfort of pumping is thwarted with threats to throw out over 16oz my babies food?!?!!!”

Palmer, who welcomed her son Leodis Jackson in February, wondered why the breast milk quarrel wasn’t a “crime.”

“I’M A MOTHER for crying out loud 😩😢,” she added.

Unfortunately, for Palmer and many breastfeeding moms, the TSA says breast milk “in quantities greater than 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters are allowed in carry-on baggage,” while anything “in excess” of that must be “screened separately.”

This ruling likely resulted in the “Akeelah and the Bee” star having to throw out ounces of her breast milk. Fans of the actress joined her in calling out the strict rule.

“I’ve had this issue in soo many airports. TSA really needs to get it together,” one user wrote.

“Atlanta airport move weird like that too,” added someone else.

One Twitter user who reportedly worked for a major airline claims it’s “illegal” for TSA to throw out breast milk.

“Baby food and formula may exceed standards ounce restrictions. TSA and the airlines know better,” the user wrote.

Palmer has been sharing her motherhood journey on social media after welcoming her son earlier this year. Baby Leodis is the first for Palmer and her boyfriend Darius Jackson.

Earlier this month, Palmer shared a photo of her baby boy that cracked a joke at herself.

https://twitter.com/KekePalmer/status/1666457137676001282?s=20

The actress has maintained her high-profile celebrity status since entering motherhood and has compared herself to a “super saiyan” when it comes to how she’s crushing being a mom and working woman. Now Palmer just needs TSA to get in line with supporting breastfeeding moms.

‘Caught up in the Rapture’ Of Ongoing Twitter Feud, Anita Baker Drops Babyface From Tour

The feud between legends Anita Baker and Babyface has reached a new low.

Baker announced that she would be continuing her The Songstress Tour alone. In a Twitter post with a revised tour poster, Baker claims she has suffered from cyberbullying from the Babyface fanbase. “After silently, enduring cyberbullying/verbal abuse & threats of violence from the fan base, of our special guest/support act. In the interest of personal safety,” Baker said. “I will continue, The Songstress Tour, alone.”

As fans started to respond, wondering what happened, Babyface, whose real is Kenneth Edmonds, released a statement expressing how he felt about the sudden announcement. “It’s unfortunate and disheartening to see how things have played out on social media,” Babyface said. “While I was looking forward to the rest of the dates, I have nothing but love & respect for Anita and I wish her the best for the remainder of her tour.”

The battle between the singer and songwriters allegedly started on May 10 after Babyface tweeted an apology to concertgoers in New Jersey. “I was asked not to perform in order to give Ms. Baker her space and time to perform her show in its entirety,” Babyface tweeted, according to CNN. “My band and I are extremely saddened we didn’t get to perform for y’all tonight.” Dubbing his fans “Kenny’s Crazies,” Baker tweeted in her defense as some of Edmonds fans taunted her online. “@Babyface Please call off, your fans,” she wrote. “I have been Only Kind and Supportive, of You, as the Special Guest/Support, on My Tour.”

Shannon Sharpe Makes Tearful Exit During His Last On-Air Appearance For ‘Undisputed’

NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe has hosted his last episode of Undisputed. On his way out, he tearfully thanked Bayless an for letting him be part of the daily sports debate show.

The relationship between Sharpe and Bayless had recently grown contentious. It was previously reported that Sharpe (as well as his popular podcast, Club Shay Shay) would be leaving Bayless and Fox Sports after the NBA Finals ended, which took place on June 12, 2023.

Sharpe’s last appearance was the next day. In his farewell speech, he thanked the controversial Bayless for allowing him to share the spotlight of the daily debate show.

“Skip Bayless. You fought for me, brother. I’m here because of you. You allowed me to share the stage with you. You allowed me to share the platform. I’m going to cry in the car but I’m not going to cry now. The opportunity that you gave me to become what I became, I’m very indebted to you. I’ll never forget what you did for me. You’ve helped me grow more than you’ll ever know. All I ask is when you lay your head on that pillow at night, know I gave everything I had,” he said.

Bayless responded by acknowledging the great work that Sharpe did on Undisputed, although he referred to him as an adversary instead of a hosting partner.

“I want to thank you for dedicating yourself to this job,” Bayless said. “It is a voracious beast of a show, day after day after day. You dedicated yourself to this job just the way you dedicated yourself to professional football as a Hall of Famer. I want to thank you for never taking a sick day. I want to thank you for preparing as hard as you could, every single day. Every single topic. I want to thank you for competing as hard as you competed with me. Because the greatest compliment I can give you is you were a worthy adversary.”

No reason has been given for Sharpe’s departure.

Before joining Undisputed, the 54-year-old Sharpe was on the ESPN morning debate show First Take with superstar sports provocateur Stephen A. Smith in 2016.

Mississippi Cop Who Shot 11-Year Old Aderrien Murry Gets Slap On The Wrist, Suspended Without Pay

Mississippi Cop Who Shot 11-Year Old Aderrien Murry Gets Slap On The Wrist, Suspended Without Pay

Sgt. Greg Capers, the Indianola, Mississippi, police officer who shot 11-year-old Aderrien Murry has been suspended without pay, NBC News reports.

During a board meeting on June 12, 2023, the Indianola Board of Aldermen voted to suspend Capers without pay “effective immediately” in a 4 to 1 vote. Capers shot Murry in the chest after he responded to a domestic call at the home of Nakala Murry, Aderrien’s mother.

The father of one of Nakala Murry’s children showed up unexpectedly at her home around 4 a.m. According to Carlos Moore, an attorney representing the family, the police were told he was unarmed.

The $5 million federal civil rights lawsuit filed last month by the Murry family claims Capers arrived “with his firearm drawn at the front and asked everyone inside of the residence to come outside.”

When Aderrien came around the corner of a hallway, he was “instantly shot by Defendant Officer Capers.” The child survived, but suffered a collapsed lung, a lacerated liver and fractured ribs.

Calls have been put in for Capers to be fired but he remains employed and no charges have been filed.

Moore says the Murry family supports the suspension, but wants him terminated from the department. “The family of Aderrien Murry, specifically his mother Nakala Murry, believes this is a step in the right direction,” Moore said, according to USA Today. “He’s a danger to society.”

Caper’s attorney, Michael Carr, claims that the suspension without pay isn’t giving his client due process since he said the officer found out about the suspension adjustment on social media. The officer claims the shooting was an accident.

“I’m awfully sorry it happened to this young man, Officer Capers is awfully sorry this happened to this young man,” Carr said. The attorney said body cam footage has been sent to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and that “once released (it) will clear him completely from any criminal allegation in the shooting.”

Dwyane Wade Explains Going 50/50 On Bills With Gabrielle Union, ‘We Decided Together’

Dwyane Wade is clearing up any speculation surrounding how he and his wife, Gabrielle Union, split the bills in their shared home.

The NBA champion appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast where he was asked about “the whole 50/50 concept” Union revealed during her interview on Bloomberg last month. The “Being Mary Jane” star became a trending topic when she shared how she and Wade split their costs evenly.

“It’s weird to say I’m head of household because in this household, we split everything 50/50,” Union revealed.

Now, one month later and Wade is clarifying his wife’s statements and explaining how the celebrity couple came to the decision that they would share the finances rather than having the NBA star pay for everything.

“We decided together,” Wade said.

He recalled a time when they resided in Miami and he referred to their house as “my house,” which rubbed Union the wrong way.

“My wife looked at me and said ‘you will never say that to me again when it’s something that we share,'” Wade recounted.

That’s when they decided to buy their Los Angeles home together

“50/50, we purchased it together,” Wade said of their LA home. “Our daughter, 50/50 we share it together.”

Wade jokingly said he didn’t want Union building all her wealth while spending all of his. But Union has doubled down on her evenly split finances with her husband.

She further reiterated her statements on Instagram by posting a video with her husband with a sarcastic caption saying, “I love when he matches my energy, 50/50 over here.”

She was transparent when sharing the pressures she feels about money despite being so successful. The “Bring It On” star noted the multiple households she and Wade provide for separately and how it pushes her to work more.

“I have more responsibilities for my money,” she said. “I get nervous if a movie doesn’t open, am I gonna have enough to hold everyone up?”

Biden Calls Racism ‘Still Too Powerful’ During Juneteenth Concert at White House

Biden Calls Racism ‘Still Too Powerful’ During Juneteenth Concert at White House

President Joe Biden on Tuesday denounced racism in the United States and said the Juneteenth holiday was meant to help underscore American values that he said were under threat.

Speaking at the White House’s first big Juneteenth celebration, a concert that featured performances by singers Jennifer Hudson, Audra McDonald and Ledisi, Biden urged Americans to choose love over hate and to remember history, not erase it.

“As the past few years remind us, our freedoms have been put at risk by racism that’s still too powerful a force,” he said.

“Hate only hides… And when given oxygen, just a little oxygen, it comes roaring back out again, and we have to … stand up and deny racism the oxygen. So Juneteenth as a federal holiday is meant to breathe a new life into the very essence of America.”

Biden declared Juneteenth – a portmanteau of June and 19th, also known as Emancipation Day – a federal holiday in 2021. It commemorates the day in 1865, after the Confederate states had surrendered to end the Civil War, when a Union general arrived in Texas to inform a group of enslaved African Americans of their freedom under President Abraham Lincoln’s 1863 Emancipation Proclamation.

It has been a holiday in Texas since 1980. U.S. presidents dating back to George W. Bush have marked Juneteenth from the White House, often with a somber statement.

Vice President Kamala Harris, the first Black woman vice president, opened the evening at the White House with a description of the origins of the day and an introduction of 96-year-old Opal Lee, whose advocacy helped turn Juneteenth into a holiday.

“Make yourself a committee of one to change somebody’s mind,” Lee told the audience. “If people can be taught racism and to hate, they can be taught to love.”

The White House described the event as a celebration of community, culture and music. It included music from marching bands from Morgan State University in Baltimore and Tennessee State University, in Nashville. Other performers were dance group Step Afrika! and choirs from more historicallyblack colleges and universities.

Louisiana’s Fort Polk Army Base Renamed To Fort Johnson In Honor Of Black WWI Hero

Louisiana’s Fort Polk Army Base Renamed To Fort Johnson In Honor Of Black WWI Hero

An Army base located in western Louisiana has been renamed in honor of a Black soldier who served in the First World War and received the Medal of Honor.

According to The Associated Press, the previously named Fort Polk (previously named after a Confederate commander, Leonidas Polk) is now Fort Johnson, renamed after Sgt. William Henry Johnson.

Johnson received the Medal of Honor nearly a century after serving on the front lines of France in 1918. He helped fight off a German night raid near the Argonne Forest, according to the National Museum of the United States Army.

While beating back attacking enemies, Johnson was wounded 21 times. He reportedly prevented another Black soldier from being taken as a prisoner when he killed two German soldiers using his knife after running out of grenades and ammunition.

The United States military is making a concerted effort to rename Army posts that are/or have been named after Confederate officers. The Army is in the process of renaming nine Army posts after Black soldiers and women.

Former President Theodore Roosevelt named Johnson one of the five bravest Americans to serve in World War I. The former soldier was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor in 2015 “for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty.”

Although Johnson literally risked his life and limb for the Army, he was denied a disability allowance and did not receive a Purple Heart. He struggled with the injuries he suffered in combat returning home to Albany, NY, and died of a heart condition in 1929. He was only 32 years old.
